Another Great Day on the Beach

So, Rick and Jack are pretty excited about Loving Life on Waikiki Beach, Collecting some really cool coral and a few pieces of lava rock, watching the surf roll in and not working or going to school. I suggested that we read a page from the book Road Trip – The Good Words Book for Success – Likely to Succeed A-Z.

It is a book that Dr. Rick has written to encourage people about using Good Words in their lives to write their thoughts, guide their emotions and shape their behavior.

The first word that we found was Ambition. It said that Ambition is the fuel for the engine on the Road Trip. It is the juice that gets you going. Ambition encourages the motivation to have and to be and to do. It is energy, it is excitement, it is enthusiasm for you and your life.

Ambition is the drive needed to attain, achieve and accomplish your hopes and dreams and the goals that you have for your life. Ambition comes from the inside out. How much Ambition is in your bucket? What do you want? Why do you want it? What do you have to do to get it? Will you do it? This is where Ambition comes in.

“What do you think Jack?” asked Dr. Rick. “Right now, I am thinking about napping on Waikiki Beach, pretty full after the dumpster snacks and the warm air is making me a little sleepy.” said Jack.

“What about another word?” asked Dr. Rick. “Is the word Dream in the book?” asked Jack. “That’s funny,” said Dr. Rick. By then Jack was already snoring with a smile on his face. So much for Ambition?

Perhaps we will pick another word a little later. Snoring is not in the book, but Jack is learning about that in the morning when Dr. Rick is doing it.
